Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai - Lombard

Drove 25 minutes for this amazing ramen place. The food is definitely authentic and the best ramen in the area. Recommend the spicy miso ramen with a boiled egg on top and the karaage.

During our evening stroll around Lombard, Chicago, we discovered Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai, and it turned out to be the perfect end to our day. The Japanese ramen was rich and satisfying, with a flavourful broth and tender noodles. The warm, comforting dish was exactly what we needed to cap off the evening. If you're in the area and craving authentic ramen, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic ramen, currently my favorite in this neighborhood! The portion is huge and the soup is rich and flavorful.

I recently visited Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai in Lombard, and it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a delicious bowl of ramen and more. Food: The ramen here is outstanding. A perfect 10 fun and exciting eating experience. I tried the chashu/pork belly ramen spicy miso, and it was incredibly flavorful full of beautiful vegetables, just the right spice,and with pork so tender it literally melted in my mouth. The broth was rich and savory, and the noodles had the perfect texture. I also recommend any of their chashu bowls as they are flavorful delicious and most everything comes in two sizes. Service: The service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. They made sure we had everything we needed and provided generous portions of food. Ambiance: The restaurant has a chill and welcoming vibe. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. The decor is simple yet charming, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. Overall: Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is a must-visit for ramen lovers. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and cozy ambiance makes it a standout spot in Lombard. I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu!

Amazing experience, great food, Great staff! I had the spicy miso with extra vegetables and the chashu bowl. The miso was amazing! Chashu bow was literally one of the most amazing foods I have ever tried. Miso was not as spicy as I was expecting but no big deal. 10/10 will be returning even if it is an almost hour drive from me. Definitely recommend!

Must try! It was amazing food and they have 2 separate menus so don’t get worried like we did when we didn’t find the Hawaiian food. Huge portions and great taste

Visiting Chicago and it’s hard to express how special this place is. I lived in the OC for 8 years, where the other locations of Kitakata are, and let me tell you... they are so dang good! I even went to Japan to have this ramen, and Kitakata absolutely holds its own. They are so consistent, and there is no broth cleaner — yet still so flavorful — than their Green Chili Shio Ramen. Such a big fan, and can only pray it comes to North Atlanta soon.

20/10!!!! I had the spicy miso ramen and it was magnificent! This is my new favorite place to get ramen for sure!
